Michael’s Deli

So if you know me, you know that I have a lot of Michael’s in my life. Most of my good friends are named Michael for some odd reason. This past weekend, I made another one.

I heard about Michael’s Deli from my good friend Mike (shocking I know) and had been meaning to try it ever since I moved to Coolidge Corner. They have amazing Yelp reviews and are known for serving up their New-York style corned beef sandwiches. Selma and I were starving before our Apple Picking Trip so this was the perfect opportunity to try this place out.

They have a variety of options from turkey and corned beef to tongue and liver. I ended up getting the Maple Mustard Corned Beef sandwich on light rye with a side of hot garlic pickles and Selma got one of their specials (turkey, pastrami, sauerkraut, and hot peppers). I didn’t get a chance to get any pictures of hers because I ate it while driving. On a plus note though, the owner Steven was super friendly and helpful and even gave us some free potato salad!

My little  bundle of joy and deliciousness…

Generous serving and very reasonable prices.

Wrapped inside this little bundle of joy were my hot garlic pickles! I could eat these all day.

So so good. The whole thing just melts in your mouth.

Something to note is that they are cash only so be prepared if you’re planning on stopping by!
